The 2nd "NEXT IN CHEONGSAM STYLE (NICS) - Young Designer Challenge," co-organized by SPARKLE CHARITY FOUNDATION and HKDI, invited current and former students and graduates of HKDI's fashion Image Design programs to create and shape the future style of cheongsams and Tang suits with the themes of "future cheongsam" and "denim".

The "future cheongsam," designed and sewn by 13 participants, showcased their unique creativity. While retaining characteristic elements of traditional Chinese cheongsams or Tang suits, they incorporated Western tailoring, creating a fusion of East and West to interpret their vision of the "future cheongsam." The awardees included:
